S.Thomas Peavey Hoffer achieves AV Preeminent Rating

Matthews & Jones, LLP is pleased to announce that S. Thomas Peavey Hoffer, managing partner of the firm’s Litigation Group, has achieved the rating of AV Preeminent® from Martindale-Hubbell®. The AV Preeminent® rating is the highest possible rating given by Martindale-Hubbell®. Only approximately 10% of all lawyers achieve the AV Preeminent® rating, and such rating is awarded only to those lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional ability.  To qualify as AV Preeminent®, a lawyer’s expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence must be rated at the highest level by lawyers and members of the judiciary.

Mr. Hoffer has experience in business and commercial litigation matters (including partnership and contract disputes, unfair competition, and non-compete agreements), real estate litigation, and employment litigation. Mr. Hoffer has successfully represented clients in state, federal, and appellate courts. Mr. Hoffer currently serves as the Chairman of the Florida Bar’s First Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee.
