New partner, Thomas Hoffer, will lead the Litigation Division of the Firm.
Destin, Florida – Matthews & Jones Law Firm announced today that Thomas Hoffer has been named Partner and will lead the Firm’s Litigation Group.
“We are pleased that Tom is now a partner of Matthews & Jones” Senior Partner Dana C. Matthews says. “Tom’s approach to the practice of law and his exceptional talent, skill and ability are a testament to the longevity of our firm.”
Tom originally joined the firm in 2006. In 2008, Tom left the firm to serve as a prosecutor in rural Alaska. Tom returned to the firm in 2012 and was named the Managing Attorney for the firm’s Crestview, Florida office in 2014. Tom focuses his practice in litigation with an emphasis on disputes involving Business, Partnership Issues, Private Property Rights, Real Estate, Civil, and Employment Issues.

Tom received a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the Florida State University Business Review and received awards for the highest grades in International Taxation and Business Entity Taxation. Tom received a B.S. from Virginia Tech in 2001.
Tom is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, District of Columbia, and Alaska.
Tom and his Wife, Cynthia, reside in Crestview with their three children, Clara. Stefan and Nicole.
