Destin, Florida – Matthews & Jones Law Firm announced today Christa Diviney, a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer with the firm, has been awarded the Excellence in Advocacy Award by the Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office

Christa joined the firm in January of 2018. Christa focuses her practice in criminal law and civil litigation. Christa earned board certification as a Criminal Trial Lawyer in 2016, and is one of only two such certified attorneys in Okaloosa County.

Christa earned Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law from the Florida Bar in 2016. Christa earned her J.D. from University of Florida in 2008 and a Master of Arts the same year. Christa earned her Bachelor’s in Journalism in 2005 from University of West Florida.
Christa is admitted to practice in Florida and in Alabama.
